Welcome to the future of sustainable plastics with RAWS!
Our patented technology formula is revolutionizing the way the world approaches plastic waste. Designed to thermally break down conventional plastics like polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) at a molecular level. When added to these plastics and their derivatives, RAWS ensures that once activated at temperatures as low as 25°C (77°F), plastics depolymerize working towards microplastic elimination.
Join us in reshaping the future and creating a cleaner, greener world with RAWS.
Our Technology arrow_forwardExplore Solutions →PP PlasticRAWS integrates seamlessly with Polypropylene (PP) and its derivatives such as BOPP, OPP, BOPE, EVOH which are used in products like food containers, automotive parts, and textiles. RAWS thermally activates at low temperatures, breaking down the long polymer chains unique to PP and its derivatives. This ensures that these materials, often used in durable goods and packaging, degrade completely in landfill conditions without leaving microplastics behind.*
PE PlasticPolyethylene (PE) and its derivatives, such as HDPE, LDPE, and LLDPE, are found in products ranging from grocery bags and plastic films to heavy-duty pipes and containers. RAWS works by targeting the specific molecular structure of each type of PE, enabling a tailored breakdown process that works effectively under anaerobic conditions. This technology helps PE-based products fully degrade in environments where recycling is not an option, minimizing environmental impact.*
PET PlasticRAWS is also compatible with PET, commonly used in beverage bottles and packaging. By thermally breaking down the robust polymer structure unique to PET and its derivatives, RAWS accelerates their decomposition. Once RAWS is activated with as little as 77°F, the PET products continue to degrade in a landfill towards the elimination of microplastics. *
Monolayer-Multilayer PackagingRAWS technology works effectively with both monolayer and multilayer films, commonly used in food, medical, and industrial packaging. For monolayer films made from polymers like PE or PP, RAWS’ thermal activation degrades the polymers towards the elimination of microplastics. In more complex multilayer films (e.g., PET, EVOH, and PE), RAWS ensures that each polymer layer degrades efficiently. This offers a sustainable solution for films that are traditionally hard to recycle and end up in landfill.* Horticulture - AgricultureRAWS seamlessly integrates with the PP and PE plastics used in horticulture and agriculture, such as flowerpots, irrigation systems, and plastic sheeting. Since these products are exposed to sunlight, RAWS can be customized to match specific UV requirements, ensuring they don’t degrade prematurely. This flexibility allows RAWS-treated materials to maintain their strength and functionality until the end of their intended use, after which they will naturally degrade with thermal activation towards the elimination of microplastics.**All testing performed is validated following in house testing and accredited labs following the analytical techniques for ASTM D6954, ISO 15985:2004, ISO 24187:2023. Actual biodegradation rates will vary in biologically-active landfills according to the type of plastic used, molecular weight of the plastic, the product configuration, the solid content, temperature and moisture levels of the landfill.
